Review Reply Lab · Compliance Radar

Preview modeReady

Your business

Used only to word the drafts.

Keeps replies from confirming that someone is a patient or mentioning health details. It reduces common risks; it doesn't make a reply HIPAA-compliant.

Voice

Warm and personal.

Otherwise replies end with your team's name.

Adds a “please call us” line. The radar won't flag it.

Your reviews

Paste from Google, Yelp, Facebook or anywhere else.

Format

Separate reviews with a blank line or ---. Start each one with its rating (★★★★☆, 4/5 or 4 stars) and add a Name: line if you have one. A blank line inside a review splits it in two.

Example

Name: Dana R.
★★★★☆ Friendly staff, but the wait was long.
---
Name: Luis M.
2/5 Nobody called me back about my quote.

Sample reviews are fictional and match the industry you pick.

Methodology

How it works

Every step is listed here, so you can judge the result for yourself.

  1. Paste reviews, no account needed

Paste up to 20 reviews. We split them on blank lines or dashes and read star ratings written as stars, as 4/5, or as "4 stars." Analysis runs in your browser.

  2. We read sentiment and themes

A compact sentiment lexicon that handles negation and intensity is blended with the star rating. Themes such as wait time, billing, or quality of work are matched with keyword sets tuned to your industry.

  3. We flag what needs care

Safety or health concerns, legal threats, discrimination claims, privacy issues, refund demands, and named employees raise a review's priority, so you can answer the hardest ones first.

  4. We draft three replies

Warm, concise, and recovery drafts are built from vetted sentences that mention the review's themes without repeating personal or health details from the review.

  5. The compliance radar checks every reply

Drafts and any reply you paste are checked for patient-relationship disclosures (in healthcare mode), health details, incentives tied to reviews, admissions of liability, personal data, and argumentative tone, with a safe rewrite for each issue.

Interpretation

Reading your results

What each part of the result means, and what to do with it.

  • Priority order

Reviews with safety, legal, discrimination, or privacy flags rise to the top, followed by low ratings and strongly negative text. Answer those first.

  • Themes

The theme map shows what customers praise and what they complain about across everything you pasted. Repeated negative themes point to operational fixes, not just better replies.

  • Reply drafts

Pick the draft closest to your voice and add one personal detail you're comfortable sharing publicly. In healthcare mode, keep it general: no visit, treatment, or patient references.

  • Compliance radar

High-severity issues should be fixed before posting. The radar catches common risky patterns, but it isn't legal advice.

FAQ

Questions about the Review Reply Lab

Is this legal advice?

No. The compliance radar catches common risky patterns in review replies, but it can't know every rule that applies to your business. For a legal threat or a sensitive complaint, talk to your attorney or compliance officer before replying.

What does healthcare mode change?

In medical, dental, med spa, and similar practices, a public reply shouldn't confirm that someone is a patient. Healthcare mode keeps visit, treatment, and patient references out of drafts and flags them in replies you paste. HHS has penalized practices for disclosing patient information in review responses.

Can I offer a discount to someone who updates their review?

Don't. The FTC's 2024 rule on fake reviews prohibits incentives conditioned on a review's sentiment, and a public offer tied to changing a review reads that way. The radar flags these offers.

Do you post replies for me?

No. The lab drafts and checks replies; you copy the one you like and post it yourself. MediaMentorAI can build a review agent that drafts replies into an approval queue.

Are my reviews stored?

Analysis and drafting run in your browser, and the lab never posts anything for you. If you choose Polish with AI, every review that has text is sent to our AI provider in batches, with its rating, your business name, industry, and reply voice, to rewrite the drafts. In healthcare mode, reviewer names are withheld. Every AI draft is checked by the radar again before you see it.

Which reviews should I answer first?

Start with anything flagged for safety, legal, or discrimination concerns, then recent negative reviews, then everyone else. A short, specific thank-you to positive reviewers is still worth sending.

Next step

Want drafts waiting for approval every morning?

A review agent drafts a reply to every new review, runs these same checks, and waits for your OK before anything posts. Prefer to talk now? Call (732) 597-7375.
